Art Nouveau Amethyst Rhinestone Necklace.
A spectacular long necklace made of foiled amethyst colored rhinestones set in several brass plaques.This art nouveau necklace is eighteen inches around, with a three inch long center pendant. It is striking in its ornate composition and diminutive floral theme. Each side of the necklace has two open backed amethyst glass stones.There is also a prong set amethyst clasp, quite secure.
The three inch pendant is made of two plaques riveted together.The focal point of the pendant is the center rosette of rhinestones with a brass florette on each of the four sides. The perimeter of the pendant is outlined in rhinestones. Each link of the chain is stamped with a pattern, similar to old watch chains.
