Sterling Silver Chainmaille Necklace Graduated Byzantine Weave
I made one of these graduated Byzantine chain maille necklaces in sterling silver for another customer, but it's so gorgeously unusual that I made another one. There's well over 3 troy ounces of sterling silver in this necklace - it is a substantial, luxurious, piece. This chainmaille necklace is so fluid it drapes around your neck and wears like a dream. Chainmaille is made by weaving high quality sterling silver jump rings one at a time to create a specific pattern. It takes a lot of time to make chainmaille jewelry, but the end results are well worth it. This necklace closes with a well made S clasp at just over 17".
