Wire Wrapped Necklace - Leopardskin Jasper Pendant, Prehnite, Vintaj Antiqued Brass
This leopardskin jasper pendant is well cut and polished, bringing out the wonderful, rich coloring from creamy tan to dark brown with a smattering of pinks and reds thrown in. I formed and wrapped the frame, added some rose pink niobium accents, and then discovered the cloudy green opaqueness of these prehnite briolettes goes perfectly with this mix of colors and the bronze colored Vintaj brass metal.
I enjoy the one-piece necklaces style, just slip it on and away you go. That is how I made this one, and the chain is 23" (58.4 cm) in length from the top of the pendant. If you have a small to medium sized head it will fit. If you need more length, or would like it to have a clasp, just ask. The pendant measures just under 3.5" (8.9 cm) from where it hooks into the chain to the bottom of the longest dangle. It is a little less than 2.5" (6.3 cm) wide at the widest.
