Earrings - Premium Moss Agate, Silver Wire Wrapping
This is a design I came up with when I started playing with higher end stones. I formed the frame, lightly hammered it to strengthen the metal and create a slightly flattened look, then coiled a few feet of very fine sterling wire around the bottom. I recently found these gorgeous faceted Moss Agate briolettes, and they look wonderful framed by the shiny silver. The stones are translucent with some cloudiness, and loaded with forest green inclusions that look like little ferns trapped inside, they're just wonderful. I added some sterling rings for accents. At 1.5" long, including the handmade ear wires, they're lightweight, and will enhance any look you wish to present.
