Tlingit Doug Chilton Silver Bracelet
Tlingit silver artisan and carver Doug Chilton created this sterling silver cuff bracelet with eagle and killer whale engravings.The Chilton family are famous silver and goldsmiths as well as carvers. Doug Chilton was commissioned by the Smithsonian Institute to carve a dugout canoe to hang in the Smithsonian. In July 2009, the canoe was completed. And,with other Tlingit men assisting the canoe was set into the Potomac River to paddle.
