Carved Shell Cameo Habille Diamond Pendant

A Greek woman's portrait carved shell cameo with the 12KT gold wire and genuine diamond necklace described as "habille". With the classic antique cameo profile: straight facial nose line, Greek styled hair, simple dress, the cameo portrait style is early Victorian. The cameo alone measures 1 1/4" x 1". It is set ( or more likely has been reset) in a very ornate Victorian style gold frame work
