Chile Lapis 950 Silver Necklace

We have been fortunate to acquire some beautiful South American jewelry, and this lapis lazuli necklace is outstanding.The deco styling of the necklace indicates an age of 1930's to the 1940's. There is a fineness of 950 stamped on the clasp, which exceeds sterling silver. The chain is hand forged, holding the diamond shaped bezel set lapis lazuli.This is a natural dark blue lapis from the Chilean Andes. Measuring 21" around with a 1 3/4 inch drop.
