MATL style Mexican Silver Cuff Bracelet
The design inspiration of Matilde Poulat is evident in this vintage mexican silver cuff, whose unique style made William Spratling remark about the inherent native character of her work. When she died in 1960, Ricardo Salas and his family continued her work. This silver cuff was made by Pedro Carranza, with all the MATL intense detail. Set in a hefty cuff one and one quarter inches wide, amethyst, turquoise and coral are inset throughout the bracelet surrounded by intricate silver scroll work.The sterling cuff fits a larger wrist. The cuff is 6 1/2 inches around and has a one inch opening.
