Vintage Mexican Silver Necklace Carved Sodalite Pendant.
A vintage Mexican Sterling necklace of silver beads is 25 inches around, attached to a carved sodalite Pre-Columbian design mask pendant with malachite inserts. A two inch drop for the pendant with three silver cones terminating in deep blue sodalite beads. The necklace is marked Eagle 2, Iguala. Villasana & two of the Castillo brothers are listed under this mark, among other famous vintage mexican silver makers. The pendant is marked Sterling and Mexico, making it earlier than 1945.Over 40 grams of silver are in this mexican silver necklace.
