Vintage Mexican Silver Necklace Pendant
This two sided vintage mexican silver pendant of crushed mosaic turquoise with intricate inlaid copper is azteca mosaica - a technique developed by taxco jewelry makers Los Castillos in the 1950's. The other side of the 5.5 cm pendant is a dark rosewood inset with copper.The entire pendant is wrapped in silver and marked on the bale, Eagle 3, AVM.This vintage mexican pendant was created in the late 1940's to the early 1950's when Mexican silver jewelry flourished. We added an extra long 76 cm sterling rope chain to make it stand out.
